
L.A. Spas, Inc. is currently seeking a Sales Support Specialist.
Overview of Position
The Sales Support Specialist is the primary point of contact for our customers. In this role, you will work with our customers (specialty retailers and distributors), regional sales managers (“RSMs”) and our three factory-owned stores. The primary goal of the Sales Support Specialist is to assist these various sales groups to increase sales, as well as provide the fundamental knowledge and materials required for them to do so.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide quality service to L.A. Spas’ internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding L.A. Spas’ values at all times.
- Process sales orders on behalf of RSMs which includes:
- accurate and timely order entry
- verbal confirmation of sales orders with customers
- review of prices quoted by RSMs vs. established discount guidelines
- compliance with L.A. Spas’ standard order entry processes and procedures.
- Work closely with our Customer Service Department to fully resolve any customer service issues.
- Maintain solid ongoing relationships with dealer/customers to ensure dealer retention.
- Complete other Sales and Marketing assignments as required from time to time.
- Support the RSM’s activities and efforts to maximize the distribution network (dealer count and quality), sales, and revenue.
Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Detail oriented, especially related to sales order entry
- Work well under pressure to meet time and accuracy targets
- Computer skills – Excel & Word & Microsoft Outlook; learn our order entry system (MAS)
- Ability to multi-task and handle consistent workflow, follow-up and organize work tasks
- Develop and foster relationships
- Good listening skills and retention/memory
- Effective oral, written and telephone skills
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree
- Minimum of five years relevant customer service experience
